Water Services wishes to inform residents and businesses of City Power’s planned maintenance at Rand Water’s Eikenhof Booster Pumping Station on Friday, 29 May 2026. As a result, Eikenhof will be operating at 91% pumping capacity during this period, which may lead to low water pressure or intermittent water supply in some areas.
In addition, Eskom will undertake maintenance at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch Water Treatment Plant, which supplies water to the Eikenhof Booster Pumping Station, on Wednesday, 17 July 2026. During this maintenance period, Eikenhof will operate at 51% pumping capacity, which may adversely affect water supply across Mogale City.
These planned maintenance activities, scheduled to take place over a 12-hour period, are aimed at improving the reliability and long-term sustainability of the water supply system.
You are therefore urged to prepare adequately in advance for possible water supply disruptions during the maintenance periods.
