Mogale City Local Municipality hereby notifies consumers that tariff increases came into effect on 1 July 2026 to mark the beginning of the municipal financial year.
These increases will reflect on consumers’ accounts at the end of this month.
2026/27 tariffs increase summary:

| Sanitation | 11% |
While the municipality continues to cushion residents with a 0% increase in property rates, these tariff increases are commensurate with cost of living increases, its also necessary to ensure the continued delivery of quality services to our residents.
