Mogale City Local Municipality, in partnership with LGSETA and Chinese Culture and International Education Exchange Centre, is pleased to announce the Young Entrepreneur Exchange Program in China. This program offers a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs from Mogale City to:
- Explore new markets and gain international exposure
- Build lasting global networks
- Learn from Chinese innovation and enterprise culture
Program Highlights:
- Exposure to Chinese innovation and enterprise culture
- Culture exchange and networking sessions
- Training workshops on entrepreneurship, trade, and digital economy
- Visits to tech parks, incubators, and manufacturing hubs
- Business-to-business engagements with Chinese entrepreneurs
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18-35 years old
- South African citizen and resident of Mogale City
- Entrepreneurial status (founder or co-founder of a registered business with CIPC)
- Business operating for at least 1 year
- Demonstrated commitment to the business venture
- Clear vision and potential for growth
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity beyond the program end date
- Willingness to obtain a Chinese visa
- Ability to commit to the entire duration of the program (approximately 6 months)
