The Kagiso Swimming Pool is now open to the public, providing residents with access to a recreational facility for leisure, exercise and swimming activities.

Residents are encouraged to make use of the facility responsibly and to comply with all pool rules and safety requirements to ensure an enjoyable experience for all users.

Limited Capacity

To promote safety and ensure a positive experience for all visitors, a maximum of 50 people will be permitted at the facility at any given time. Users will be accommodated in two-hour sessions, after which they will be required to exit the facility to allow the next group access

Entrance fees and operating hours:

The swimming pools will operate from Tuesdays to Saturdays between 9:00 and 17:00. The facility will be closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.

Entrance fees are as follows:

  • Adults: R8.00
  • Children: R4.00
  • Seasonal school ticket: R234.00
  • Seasonal Club Fee: R78:00
  • Aquatic Sports Facility Rental: R97:00

Appropriate swimwear required

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all users, swimmers are required to wear appropriate swimwear when using the facility. Underwear and other inappropriate clothing will not be permitted in the pool. For safety and decency reasons, swimwear should not be skin-coloured.

Follow staff and lifeguard instructions

For the safety of all visitors, users are required to follow instructions issued by authorised staff and the lifeguard on duty. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with facility staff, observe all pool rules and respect fellow users to help maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for everyone.
