Residents, ratepayers and businesses are advised that the municipality’s non-essential services will close for the festive period from Wednesday, 24 December 2025 at 12:00, and will reopen on Monday, 5 January 2026.
To maintain continuity of service delivery, essential services including cashiers, cemeteries, electricity, water, sanitation and roads management will remain operational at reduced capacity between 07h30 and 16h00, excluding public holidays. Normal standby and emergency services, refuse removal (as per schedule) and Public Safety operations will continue uninterrupted, including on public holidays.
Account holders may continue to settle municipal accounts via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), bank deposits, or EasyPay outlets. Prepaid water and electricity purchases remain available through banking apps and authorised retail outlets listed on the municipal website.
