Residential property owners who are pensioners, or individuals certified as physically or mentally disabled, are invited to apply for the 2026/2027 Pensioners’ Rebate. Successful applicants will qualify for a 45% rebate on property rates, in addition to the standard residential property rebates available to all qualifying property owners.
Application forms are available at the following municipal offices: Krugersdorp Civic Centre office, Kagiso Mall office, Kagiso Main (next to SASSA), Azaadville Office, Lusaka Office, Rietvallei 2 and 3 Office and the Magaliesburg Office.The closing date for applications is 30 September 2026.
Please note that pensioners who previously received the rebate are also required to re-apply for consideration in the new financial year.
