Mogale City Local Municipality is pleased to announce the establishment of three important forums aimed at strengthening local economic development, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement. Through its own platforms, as well as those of partners and stakeholders, the municipality invites members of the public, business leaders, and community representatives to submit nominations of suitable individuals to serve on the following forums currently being established:

1. Mogale City Business Forum

The business forum will serve as a platform for private-sector engagement, promoting partnerships between local businesses and the municipality. Its focus includes fostering investment, supporting entrepreneurship, and advising on policies and strategies that drive sustainable economic growth within Mogale City.

2. SMME Development Forum

The SMME Development Forum will provide a structured platform for small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) to engage with the municipality. The forum will support local business growth, provide access to development programmes, and promote networking opportunities for entrepreneurs across Mogale City.

3. Magaliesberg Economic Development Forum (MEDF)

The MEDF aims to bring together relevant businesses, industry professionals, and stakeholders to share insights, test innovative ideas, and contribute to practical solutions for the region’s economic challenges. The forum will also foster partnerships that promote inclusive and sustainable economic development.

Nominations are welcomed from individuals who:

  • Represent registered businesses, SMMEs, cooperatives, associations, or industry networks;
