Water Services wishes to inform residents of Rand Water’s planned maintenance at its Eikenhof Pump Station from 13th until 16 December 2024. The planned 86 hours maintenance work aims to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the plant’s infrastructure.
As a result, water supply to the following areas might be interrupted:
- Munsieville
- Krugersdorp
- Delporton
- Magaliesburg
- Hekpoort
- Tarlton
- Muldersdrift
- Kagiso and extensions
- Azaadville
Residents are encouraged to store sufficient water to meet their household needs during the maintenance period.
To minimise impact, Water Services in co-ordination with the relevant ward councillors will monitor the situation and deploy tankers to areas that are most affected by the interruption.
Residents are also encouraged to use water sparingly building up to and during the period of maintenance to avoid a total city-wide interruption of water supply.
