Notice for public hearings is issued in terms of Section 160(7) of the Constitution which provides that a municipal council must conduct its business in an open manner and thus meetings should be open to the public.
MPAC shall in line of the guidelines issued in terms of Section 129(4) of MFMA consider annual reports and conduct public hearings. This is stipulated in the MPAC Terms of Reference Section 10.
MPAC will hold public hearings for the UIFWE Register of 2022/2023 for the Municipal Manager as follows:
