In line with Executive Committee resolutions in a meeting held on 6 November 2023, all Mogale City officials may not receive any gifts in the line of duty from members of the public and service providers.
Guided by this resolution and the municipality’s Code of Conduct, residents and businesses are reminded not to offer Christmas gestures in the form of gifts, food, money or alcohol to waste removal or other staff especially during the festive season. Waste Services personnel are equally forbidden from requesting or accepting any rewards, gifts, donations and favours from members of the public.
Should any of our personnel demand gifts, donations or money from you, please safely take a picture, recording of the employee or the registration number of the truck and report such incidents directly to Integrated Waste Management via email at frederica.mahlangu@mogalecity.gov.za or reneilwe.mawasha@mogalecity.gov.za.
