Struggling to get to our offices? Don’t worry, we are coming to you!
It is well-known fact that to effectively run a city, local government must have close connections with its citizens and stakeholders and as such, active public engagements remain Mogale City’s key priority for improved responsiveness to the needs of the people.
Considering this, Mogale City Revenue and Credit Control Divisions alongside other key service delivery departments will be embarking on a city-wide outreach programme which forms part of the city’s commitment to fast-tracking service delivery and bringing services closer to the people – Azaadville is our first stop!.
Mogale City therefore officially invites Azaadville residents, rate payers and businesses to an open day scheduled as follows:
Date: Thursday, 24 August 2023
Time: 8h00am to 16h00pm
Venue: Azaadville Community Hall
For the purpose of creating a better understanding amongst consumers and improving our relationship with consumers, the following departments will be present to personally address residents’ challenges and queries:
Revenue Management
- Assistance with billing enquiries, tariffs, meter readings and consumption queries, clearances, payment receipting and general account enquiries as well as Indigent Management Programme information sharing and registration.
Credit Control
- Aid with final demand and reconnection of accounts, payment arrangements and accounts settlements.
Infrastructure Development Services
- Energy and water supply, metering queries and sewerage related queries.
Integrated Waste management
- Refuse removal service queries
Rate payers are advised to have their account details on hand to ensure that their queries are resolved and escalated speedily.
We will further keep customers updated when the outreach programme moves to other venues through the municipal website, WhatsApp communication with Ward Councillors and local media.
