After almost one and a half weeks of water woes, Mogale City is pleased to inform residents and water users that the municipality’s water system has reached levels enabling our reservoirs to fully supply water.
Although some high-lying areas are still experiencing low water pressure, water should be fully restored across the city.
It should however be noted that water supply may still be affected by airlocks in the pipelines subsequent to the system being empty for several days. Water supply can also be disrupted due to pipe bursts because of fluctuating water pressure.
Communities are requested to report any further water problems for immediate attention by Water Services.
Once again, the municipality appreciates the cooperation of its consumers during the challenging period.
