As a way of assisting property owners keep up with their property rates payments, better control their finances and get some much-needed relief, our Revenue Services invites qualifying homeowners aged 60 years and older as well as the physically and mentally disabled to apply for our Pensioner’s Rebate. The qualifying criteria, requirements, and application forms are available on our website and also available at any of our Revenue offices/pay points. Closing date for applications is 30 June 2023.
We further encourage current Indigent Management Programme beneficiaries which also aims to assist homeowners pay their municipal services, to re-apply as the indigent status is only valid for 24 months, after which it must be renewed through a re-application process. Please click here for details.
