Please be advised that the municipality is in the process of migrating to a new financial system. For this reason, billing for the April 2022 period is not based on actual consumption per actual readings taken for water and electricity but consists of provisional consumption charges. Actual readings will be used to adjust your account automatically once the new financial system is active in the next billing cycle. Clients are further notified that payments made during the month of April 2022 will also not reflect on this bill and will be updated in the next bill. Your patience and understanding will be appreciated during this transition period.
We also wish to advise you that the municipality will be changing its banking details from 1 July 2022 from Standard Bank to ABSA. New banking details will be provided in your next municipal statement and on the municipal website only for you to amend your records.
