While senior citizens aged 60 years and older can already walk into our Mogale City Licensing Centre without an appointment on any given day, the Road Traffic Management Corporation has put additional measures in place to reduce frustrations experienced by the elderly at licensing centres. Licensing centres across the province, inclusive of Mogale City, have set aside dedicated resources to help speed up licence renewals for this cohort only on Wednesdays without them having to make a digital booking (online booking).
It is however important to emphasise that persons in this age group will still be required to queue but with more resources allocated specifically to assist them on the day. Mogale City Licensing Centre therefore encourages persons who are 60 years and above to try renewing their driving licences on Wednesdays.
We thank other age groups in advance for their co-operation on Wednesdays when increased focus is placed on our elderly.
