As the country continues to battle a third wave Covid-19 of infections, Mogale City Local Municipality wishes to inform residents that due to several infections and isolations, we are generally operating at reduced personnel capacity. We are aware of the negative impact this continuous suspension and resumption of services has on our customers, however, the health and safety of the customer and our personnel also has to be considered. We however ask for your patience.
Please note an update on affected services:
Meter maintenance team operating at reduced capacity
Water Services Division regrets to inform residents that its low staff capacity levels have affected the promptness at which the meter maintenance team responds to all water meter related complaints and queries.
Update: Waste collection interruption
Following the significant disruption of garbage collection service earlier this week, our Waste Management Services is operating with a much smaller workforce who are back at work after their isolation period. While the municipality continue to prioritise waste collection and disposal at government hospitals where skip bins filling up at a quick rate, the team will resume collecting waste as ordinarily scheduled. We however ask for your understanding as the schedule may not be adhered to entirely.
