Mogale City Local Municipality hereby informs members of the public of an imminent emergency water shutdown due to a huge burst pipe on Robert Broom Drive in Rangeview. Municipal water technicians and repair team is on site attending to the problem.
Due to the amount of water lost and urgent need to replace the damaged pipe, water supply has to be shut down. The areas to be affected with water supply include Rangeview, Featherbrooke Estate, Ruimsig Country Estate, Panorama and parts of Muldersdrift. The estimated time for completion of work is plus minus 10 hours. The isolation (water shutdown) to start at 11h00.
Where there’s a need for water tankers during the shutdown, Ward Councillors are advised to contact the Manager: Water & Sanitation (Mr. Duncan Mkhonto) on 083 787 5642 and indicate the exact locations where the tankers should be stationed.
The Municipality apologises for any inconvenience this emergency shutdown will have on businesses and residents in the affected areas.
