On Wednesday 23 September 2020, Mogale City’s Water Services Division will shut down valves at the corner of Flettner and Trezona Streets in order to connect into a feeder pipe for a residential complex at the corner of Van Lill and Richardson Streets. As a result of this work, water supply to some parts of Mindalore will be interrupted from 08:30am until 14:00pm on the day.
This work forms part of Water Services Division’s Aged Pipeline Replacement Project targeted at replacing existing asbestos pipe infrastructure that have corroded and reached the end of their lifespan with new water pipelines.
