Following the extension of Covid-19 lockdown to the end of April, Mogale City’s Economic Development Services Division calls on registered and approved grocery stores, wholesale produce markets, informal traders and spaza shops that wish to trade during the lockdown to apply for extended temporary permits.
Economic Development Services Division offices will be open tomorrow, 15 April 2020 to re-issue temporary permits. Vendors can apply and collect temporary permits at Ellerines Building at the corner of Human and Monument Streets in the CBD on the 3rd Floor, Krugersdorp.
No new applications will be considered during this period.
The following documents will be required:
- Business registration document issued by the CIPC
- ID copy of the person applying for the permit
- Applicant’s proof of address
- Letter from the applicant’s ward councillor
Please note that spaza shops and businesses that sell cooked food only will not be issued temporary permits as per Covid-19 regulations.
