In line with Section 21(1) (a) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act (Act 32 0f 2000), Mogale City Local Municipality developed an Integrated Development Plan (IDP) which functions as a single, inclusive and strategic plan for the development of the municipality. Section 34 of the Act requires that the IDP be reviewed annually to allow for amendments in response to changing circumstances and to make the necessary content and process improvements.
Based on this, Executive Mayor Patrick Lipudi together with Members of the Executive Committee, senior management and other municipal staff will embark on a series of community visits to review the plan. We encourage members of the public and community organisations to participate in these sessions.
