Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) would like to notify the public and the motorists that 3rd street located between revamped old taxi rank and Paardekraal Primary school will be closed from the 4th of July until to the 20th of July 2019.
The closure of the street, which is due to construction work will allow for the erection of a storm-water pipeline as well as the resurfacing of the road which is part of the major taxi revamp project.
The construction project forms part of the Municipality’s inner city regeneration plan, which amongst other includes development of new and upgrading of existing public transport facilities, whilst working to expand public transport opportunities.
This street closure will also affect access to corner Eloff and Kruger (and access from Pretoria street) – barricades will be set up from this corner and Pretoria Street.
