Mogale City Local Municipality will continue to remove various types of illegal outdoor advertising signs around the city.
What is an illegal outdoor advertising sign?
An illegal sign is an advertising sign erected without the requisite approval of the municipality.
What happens if a sign is erected without approval?
If an advertising sign is erected without the municipality’s approval, Outdoor Advertising Section personnel are entitled to remove the structures unhindered. Removed signs will be impounded at the municipality’s storage facility for 30 days and if they are not claimed within this period, they will be destroyed.
