Mogale City Local Municipality deployed its Public Safety officials, the Red Ants working together with the South African Police Services to Kagiso Extension 17
to demolish shacks built by land invaders.
The municipality is aware of housing and land needs of residents and will work in partnership with Gauteng Provincial Government and West Rand District Municipality to deliver houses and significantly reduce housing backlog.
