Gauteng Social Development MEC, Faith Mazibuko together with Mogale City Local Municipality Executive Mayor Councillor Koketso Calvin Seerane and Speaker of Council, Cllr. S Thupane will lead the city’s 67 Minutes of Community Upliftment drive in honour of the late former statesman Nelson Mandela, from 18 to 24 July 2015.
Under the theme “Take Action – Inspire Change – Make Every Day a Mandela Day”, Mogale City Mogale City Local Municipality calls on all communities, individuals and businesses to donate 67 minutes by doing something good in their communities.
The 67 Minutes of Community Upliftment drive is scheduled as follows:
