It has come to the attention of Mogale City Local Municipality’s Revenue Services that some ratepayers who have just received their monthly municipal statements dated 8 October 2020 via email and SMS are not reflecting the correct balances.

This is due to the fact that payments made through EasyPay platforms such as Pick n’ Pay, Woolworths, President Hyper, Spar, Pep, Shoprite, Checkers and the Post Office from around the 25th to the 30th of September 2020 were only allocated after municipal statements for the month of September 2020 were generated.

Payments made during the aforementioned dates and subsequent dates have however been processed, allocated and reflect on our financial system thus clients will not be adversely affected.

We sincerely apologise to affected residents for the alarm that this has caused.
