It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Executive Mayor Councillor Naga Patrick Lipudi to residents of Mogale City Local Municipality after a short illness.
Councillor Lipudi was elected Mogale City Executive Mayor on 28 June 2017 after serving as the Speaker of Council from 7 December 2016.
He will leave a tremendous void in local government and in all the political and government structures where he served. His tenacity, meticulousness, and perseverance in changing the lives of the people of Mogale City for the better will be solely missed.
We also take this opportunity to pass our sincere condolences to his family, friends, all Mogale City employees, his Mayoral Committee team, councillors, comrades and the entire community of Mogale City.
