Unisa students can now access the following services:
- Request items from Unisa library to be couriered to Krugersdorp or Kagiso Public Libraries for collection
- Return requested items to Krugersdorp or Kagiso Public Libraries to be couriered to Unisa library
- Technological training and support for users
COMPUTER AND INTERNET ACCESS
- Free computers, tablets and internet access for students and library users (library card or proof of identity required)
- Free Wi-Fi access
- Computer printout charged at R3.00 per page
- Photocopies R1.00 per page
- Scanning R3.00 per page
MEMBERSHIP/LENDING
LENDING LIBRARY MATERIAL
- Library users can borrow library material for a period of two weeks
- Pensioners can borrow library material for a period of one month
- Different borrowing privileges apply to different categories of users
- Library users can borrow study books, study guides, school project books, novels, CDs, DVDs, Cassettes etc.
- Block membership to schools and pre-schools
- Magazines
- Newspapers (in-house only)
RENEW LIBRARY MATERIAL
- Library users can renew library material for a period of two weeks
- Pensioners can renew library material for a period of one month
LOST/DAMAGED MATERIAL
- If any library material is damaged or lost, the borrower will be fined a fee based on the current value of the lost or damaged material
- Lost card fee is R37.00
