Electricity
Following vandalism and cable theft at Eskom’s Krugersdorp Munic Substation, Energy Services can report that repair materials have been delivered to the site and repair work is underway. Power will be restored tonight provided no complications arise.
Affected residents are advised to switch off all appliances to prevent injury or damage when supply is restored.
Water supply
Water tankers have been deployed to Muldersdrift: Muldersdrift Clinic, Video Centre, Ethabalethu Eco Village, Plots 10, 44, 81, 83, 90, 130, 140, 207 (Absa camp) and 648 as well as Hekpoort: Lethabong, Supply, Toinyane, Mpandlane, Phalarama, Pokolo, Dinonyaneng and Smartpet as requested by the respective Ward Councillors.
Water Services will continue to deploy water tankers to affected areas based on further councillor requests.
